Marilyn Monroe was starring in Some Like it Hot, Rock and Roll was being born, and Paul "Bear" Bryant was beginning his tenure as the University of Alabama’s Head Football Coach. Often called "the happiest decade in history" our 50s suite celebrates two different iconic themes of that era.

The Old Hollywood Glamour Bedroom pays homage to the leading men and starlets that graced the Silver Screen. Featuring a beautifully upholstered Queen bed, the décor in this room of our Alabama inn allows you to channel your inner Marilyn Monroe or Frank Sinatra.

  I am in love with this B&B. From the moment I booked my reservation for A-Day, the owners were amazing. The line of communication was immediate, often, and clear. They provide directions and information that are easy to follow. The property is beautiful, well maintained and clean. The inside of the B&B feels like home. They have so many fun options for entertainment on the property, or an option to just relax on the porch. Fresh baked cookies were available upon arrival. My room (Chimes Suite) was clean, cozy and beautiful. Did I mention that it felt like home? I loved that I could walk to the campus, stadium, The Strip, and a grocery store. Close to so many thing. I didn't have to use my car all weekend. One of the best experiences was the breakfast every morning. Fresh coffee, orange juice, eggs, sausage, bacon, grits, and........the fresh baked cinnamon rolls were to die for. The best cinnamon roll I have ever eaten. I love that this is a family owned, and run B&B. They make you feel like family, and make sure you are comfortable, safe, and well fed. I loved everything about this experience. I can't wait to come back. Next time I am bringing my bathing suit for the hot tub!!!

  I stayed for three days at Bama B & B while in town to visit cousins I had not seen since before the pandemic. Mark and Kim and Amanda were extremely kind and welcoming hosts. The beautiful home’s parlor and large screened-in porch perfectly accommodated the reunion with my cousins. We were able to sit comfortably and talk for several hours; there is even a toy area for children (which we appreciated). Breakfasts are a delicious, special occasion at Bama B & B. The home made cinnamon rolls were particularly spectacular. All told, I had a great stay at Bama B & B and will definitely return there again the next time I’m in Tuscaloosa. Highly recommended!
