Welcome to Houndstooth Hideaway!

This 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom condo is conveniently located at The Houndstooth Condominiums and under a mile from the stadium! The condo can sleep up to 11 people. This gorgeous and newly decorated/furnished unit is within walking distance of everything you may need, including plenty of restaurant and bar option! There is a wonderful balcony with a TV and electric grill, perfect for game day festivities! You can enjoy multiple complex amenities here, which include a pool with waterfall, 24-hour fitness center, tanning beds and 24 hr. business center with free printing!

The first bedroom has a SleepNumber king bed and sleeping nook with a Twin over Twin Bunkbed with a twin trundle bed. There is an en suite bathroom that has a tub and walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a Twin XL over Queen bunkbed and attached bathroom with a tub shower. The final bedroom has a king bed and twin flip sofa and attached bathroom with a tub shower. This complex is next to the railroad, but we do have sound machines in all rooms to compensate for it.

The complex pool area is open 24/7. Please be aware that there are no lights in or around the pool area.

If you have a larger group, consider also booking Rising Tide or Southern Comfort located in the same building, one floor up!

We are here to make your stay a wonderful one. We know we’ve done our job well when you ask about coming back to stay with us again. We love having repeat guests, because it feels like family or close friends coming home for a visit. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions!

*Please Read Prior to Booking:

*Check-in time is 4:00pm CST, unless prior written permission has been granted by management. Early check-ins are available upon request, pending availability. There’s a $50 charge per hour, plus tax/fees. Please note, we are unable to confirm an early check-in until 24-48 hours prior to arrival as the property is still open for booking.*

*Please be aware that upon booking, you will be required to sign the Bama Vacation Rentals forms and submit photo ID verification directly with our property management company. Please note, guests must be 25 years of age or older to book. Forms are sent through our texting system called AKIA. This will also be the primary platform used for communication.*

*There are exterior security cameras located at the front and back of the property. This includes the pool and/or hot tub. These devices may not be tampered with, covered, or unplugged by guests.*

*All reservations made within 2 weeks of date of arrival are subject to require in person Government Issued ID verification.*

*If your selected property offers the use of (trundle beds, upper bunks of bunk beds, roll-aways, futons, or flip sofas) these beds will not be made up in advance. Linens are provided and should be stored with these beds.

*A maximum of two pets are allowed with a pet fee of $100 per pet, per stay, plus tax. If you have additional pets, you must receive permission in writing from management and pay additional pet fees.*

*For stays that are longer than 2 weeks, please be aware that you will be charged an additional cleaning fee. All properties are required to be cleaned and inspected every other week.*

    We were in and out for a quick Bama Bound orientation session. This was the perfect property very close to the university. We were traveling with our youngest son and our Boston Terrier who were able to stay in the condo while we were at orientation and we could stop by on lunch break to check in.

    Great accommodations and location. Just a short walk to the stadium/campus. The property managers are quick to respond with any questions. Some reviews mention the train which is true but not a deal breaker at all. Hope to be back next football season.

    We had a great stay at this condo for a second time. It was very spacious and very accommodating. We manage to pull off a dinner for our daughters and their friends so they could have a home cooked meal with no issues. It is a super easy walk to the stadium too.

    We stayed at the Houndstooth rental for a week while evacuating from Hurricane Ida. The place is very nice and cozy. It was also quiet. Easy to get an elevator and it was nice to have a balcony to sit out on. The only things we didn't like was the ice maker did make a lot of noise and so did the dishwasher and there are several trains that pass by daily; however, they do provide a noise maker to drown out some of that. They provide you with everything you need. Staff is super friendly and very receptive. Would definitely rent it again.
