Welcome to Sweet Home on 13th!

Sweet Home on 13th is a picturesque 4 bedroom 2.5 bath house, sitting in the beautiful Tuscaloosa Historic District. Located just 0.7 miles southwest of Bryant Denny Stadium! This gorgeously decorated home can sleep up to 10 people (4 adults plus children.) This house is walking distance to UofA campus, Bryant Denny Stadium, walking trails, downtown restaurants, shopping, and more! Only 2 cars are allowed at this property.

There is a shared full bathroom with tub/shower combo upstairs with hallway access. The half bath is located downstairs in the sun room.

Amenities:
The house includes some amazing amenities like a beautiful sun room with plenty of skylights and windows to let the beautiful Saturday game day sunshine right in! There is also a built in bar that is perfect for showing off your mixology skills! Make a few Yellow Hammers to drink while talking with friends or singing your favorite tailgate songs! Outside there is a Roll Tide Corn Hole Boards - perfect for a little game day competition. For cooler game days, there are 6 fire pit chairs and fire pit to sit around and enjoy time with friends and family! There is a propane grill with plenty of grill utensils as well!

The Historic District:
This house is located in the stunning, City of Tuscaloosa Historic District! When staying in the historic district, you will be extremely close to Downtown Tuscaloosa, the University of Alabama's Campus/Strip, as well as wonderful walking trails with an old world, comfortable feel. The trade off is that there are strictly enforced noise ordinances and rules (noise - inside after 10:30pm, visitor restrictions, & parking restrictions). It is crucial that these rules are adhered to, as the historic district is under a lot of scrutiny. It is important that our guests are respectful of full time residents who have made their full-time home in this area. Only 2 parking spots are allowed at this home and the cars must park inside the garage, NOT outside of it.

We are here to make your stay a wonderful one. We know we’ve done our job well when you ask about coming back to stay with us again. We love having repeat guests, because it feels like family or close friends coming home for a visit. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions!

*Check-in time is 4:00pm CST, unless prior written permission has been granted by management. Early check-ins are available upon request, pending availability. There’s a $50 charge per hour, plus tax/fees. Please note, we are unable to confirm an early check-in until 24-48 hours prior to arrival as the property is still open for booking.*

*Please be aware that upon booking, you will be required to sign the Bama Vacation Rentals forms and submit photo ID verification directly with our property management company. Please note, guests must be 25 years of age or older to book. Forms are sent through our texting system called AKIA. This will also be the primary platform used for communication.*

*There are exterior security cameras located at the front and back of the property. These devices may not be tampered with, covered, or unplugged by guests.*

*All reservations made within 2 weeks of date of arrival are subject to require in person Government Issued ID verification.*

*If your selected property offers the use of (trundle beds, upper bunks of bunk beds, roll-aways, futons, or flip sofas) these beds will not be made up in advance. Linens are provided and should be stored with these beds.*

*For stays that are longer than 2 weeks, please be aware that you will be charged an additional cleaning fee. All properties are required to be cleaned and inspected every other week.*

The house is very nice, everything you need is there, it's in a very nice neighborhood and you can walk to the stadium or many other fun places by the University.     The photos of this house were accurate. It is beautiful and well-maintained, perfect for sleeping our family of 10. We needed a house where we could prepare food for the wedding, and it had everything that we needed plus more! It wasn’t far from the venue either. There was an issue with the garage door and thermostat when we first arrived but the management team provided good customer service and sent a maintenance guy over immediately to fix it. I accidentally left a couple of platters on the shelf and the management team was extremely helpful in returning them to me. I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in Tuscaloosa again!

    The home was exactly as advertised and fit our needs perfectly. We did our tailgating at my daughters apartment and only used the house for evening rest. Walkable to both her apartment and the stadium was my goal and your home fit perfectly. Well appointed with all the accessories needed for the stay, along with some nice treats as a kind gesture.

    The house was a short walk to Bryant Denny. The neighborhood is safe. Nice to be somewhere that there are rules ensuring safety!
    The house is old and charming. It has signs from the humidity (expected) but well maintained.
